2015....
As 2015 draws to a close, we look back at what has been an outstanding year with our dogs. Where we took the dreams we achieved last year and blew them out of the water. In the dog world winning anything at Crufts is an achievement. In 2014, Blax took a dream of winning Best of Breed and let us live it, 2015 took that dream and ran with it making Caleykiz only the 3rd Border Collie kennel in history to do the double at Crufts! It started with Blax winning the Bitch CC for the 2nd year running then came the hotly contested open dog class where Blax's son Dickens won it followed by the Dog CC! When it came to best of breed Dickens Challenged his mother and came out tops! A huge achievement for a Blue and white!
2015 brought new kids to the show team in the form of Wikid, Mia, Gladys, Lexie, Alfie, Flash and Thunder! All excelling with Class wins, Best Puppies as well as Wikid Winning Best Puppy In Show at the Border Collie Club of Wales 25th Anniversary show closely followed by Gladys who took Reserve Best Puppy in Show!
2015 gave us Multiple CC wins and a new Show champion with Sunni gaining his title at Scottish Border Collie Club.
The year ended with personal heartbreak in the loss of our wonderful Son/Brother, Daniel and life at Caleykiz will never be the same again.
We wish to thank all our outstanding friends from the canine world who have followed, supported, Celebrated and cried with us over the last year and in the last few weeks.
