Darwin was sold to a lovely young Couple at 8 weeks old. Nearly 2 years later an email pops of up from them saying how well he was doing and thanking us for such a joyful, happy dog aswell as inviting us to pop in and see him when we were next near by for a show.

So when we were next down south and nearly passes we called to see how he was doing and as they say the rest is history. Sue wanted to show but had no idea and was scared and worried by all the rules and regulations in the schedules they had seen. Darwin first show was BCCGB Open Show, where it was pretty obvious a bit of ringcraft training was needed. By his 2nd show, he was learning and won Post Graduate Dog at MBCC Open. 

Darwin qualified for Crufts at his first Champ show. Darwin went to a couple more shows prior to Crufts gaining places each time much to the delight of his Human Mum, Sue. Along came Crufts, where Sue and Carl were really a taken back by how big and busy it was and felt honour that "Our Darz" was competing at the most prestigous Dog Show in the world! By the time Darwin's class came along they were very nervous watching Donna take him in the ring, asking Laura lots of questions such as "whats happening now", "why is the judge doing that" and "why has Donna and Darwin been told to stand there?" Our response was "he has just won his class!" to which the response was a gobsmacked "Shut Up" and tears of joy!

Darwin decided to take after his Mum, China and isnt the easiest dog to show but has won well gaining 2RCC as well as many class wins and Reserve Best Veteran In Show at Border Collie Club of Wales 2015.

Darwin kicked off his 2017 show year in style winning the veteran dog class at Boston and then when onto win the Dog CC!

Darwin brought two very important, loving people into our lives, Carl & Sue and for that we will be forever grateful to him.
