Caleykiz Border Collies 

Sunni was never meant to stay at Caleykiz, but at 4 months old we still had him as we were unable to find him a forever home. At that point Mark decided to keep Sunni. He made his debut into the show ring in May 2012 at 6 months old qualifying for Crufts first time out. Two months later, Sunni's world of been a happy, people loving dog came crashing down, when at a very wet, nearly cancelled East of England Champ Show a fellow handler tripped over her own dog upon entering the ring and fell and landed on him. Sunni's life of trusting and loving everyone was crushed. One week he would show and win the next he was withdrawn and unhappy. Lots of hard work and gentle encouragement helped bring Sunni back to the dog he once was. Although only 98% of the time. In his last ever puppy class, he took us all by surprise not just winning the class but winning the RCC under Breed Specialist Ann Jordan. 

Sunni's confidence continued to grow and at 1year 11months he won his 1st Limit Class under breed Specialist Judith Gregory, he continued his winning ways and by Blackpool 2014 he had won out of Limit. In his final limit class, a week later he won the Class and his 2nd RCC. 

Sunni won his 1st CC under first time Ticket judge and breed specialist Ali Chainey at Paignton 2014, where he also took Best of Breed. He sired his first litter in December of 2014, in which 4 of the 6 puppies are in the show ring and winning well. 

His 2nd CC came May 2015 under renowned all rounder Albert White at Birmingham National and his 3rd CC came 1 day after his 4th Birthday at Scottish Border Collie Club under Breed specialist Kate Duncan. 

Sunni will now be only lightly shown under select judges.
